Floor Lamps

My interest in Interior designing made me to search and find a lot of interesting things. I realized that most of us pay only little attention when choosing lighting products for our home when compared to other decorating aspects. But that should not be the case.

Lighting plays an important role in almost every room of our home. A change in lighting may cause a lot of difference in the appearance of the room. Today we have a lot of choices for lighting that can be used to improve our home .So we have to take some time and choose perfect lighting products.

I found a lot of eco friendly lighting products which I would like to share but in this article I will restrict to some eco friendly floor lamps which are perfect to go green . Here is the list of some environmental friendly floor lamps.



Tribute floor lamp has a solid wood base and a shade made from natural material which is recyclable. It can be used with fluorescent light bulbs as an energy-saving alternative to the standard incandescent. It has a 3 way switch and it has a retro look that is perfect at home in todays modern spaces.



These fabulous paper lamps are from the designers Anne Romme & Fiyel Levent. These are completely eco friendly. They are available in four patterns and they are used with energy saving fluorescent lamps for illumination.



Akira floor lantern from eco-lights.com has a dual layered rice paper shade and a natural bamboo ribbing which is an environmental friendly resource for support. It has chrome finished feet and a line switch. For energy efficiency this can be used with 2 compact fluorescent bulbs.



This lamp has stacked luminescent rings pattern. It comes with a foot actuated dimmer and dual position cap. This lamp uses halogen bulbs which works efficiently even after longer usage . This lamp has aluminum base and clear acrylic tube with horizontal lines pattern. This lamp emits soft and non glare lighting.
